Republic day parade is the most important event for celebration of republic day in India. Republic day parade will take place on 26 January at Rajpath, Delhi. In this parade you can see India’s cultural, social heritage and defense capability.

Before the starting of this parade Prime Minister of India lays a floral Wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti.  After this Prime Minister reaches at Rajpath for parade and after this president arrives with chief guest.  

In this republic day parade prestigious awards like Ashok Chakra and Kirti Chakra are given by President. President gives awards to soldiers and civilians for their bravery.   

This republic day parade is ended by dare devil motorcycle riding by motorcycle units of Armed Forces and flypast by Indian Air Force helicopters and jets carrying the national flag. Dress rehearsal for republic day is also done on 23 January.
